Handmade wheel thrown ceramic mugs evoking the spooky vibes. These mugs are adorned with bat appliques and a painted full moon. The bats are glazed black that contrasts against the colorful glaze around them. The moon is not clear glazed leaving it a matte texture. The bats are not only placed as if they are flying in front of the moon but also a lifted applique texture. Both aspects make it seem like the bats are flying out toward the viewer creating movement within the imagery.
