This handmade one-of-a-kind ceramic mug evokes the plentiful life of a hummingbird’s wild world. The mug is adorned with bleeding heart flowers, surrounded by colorful flowing glazes. Added accents to the handle are simple purple flowers. These design aspects add textures and movement, creating an environmental perspective. The main focus of the mug is a painted hummingbird. The bird was created with meticulous details. The smallest of feathers and the brightest of colors are depicted with care. The hummingbird is not clear glazed leaving it matte raw clay contrasted against the glossy glazes.
