Handmade wheel thrown ceramic teapot. Adorned with lily pad appliques and slip trailed black tadpoles, this teapot is inspired by muddy pond waters. The lily pads are glazed with green crackle setting them apart from the brown floating green glaze surface. On each side of the teapot are painted frogs. Each rendered in meticulous details. These frogs are only clear glazed with small details, giving a physical textured of water droplets. This teapot is not made for direct stove use. Use a kettle to warm your water.
