One-of-a-kind handmade ceramic mug inspired by the colorful life of the ocean. Deep blue surface glazes, coral, and fish appliques, with textured handles.

This mug is adorned with ocean themed appliques around the handle. Two sea horse appliques guard the handle. The handle itself is textured fish scales glazed in a vibrant yellow to pull the yellows from the painted dragon. There is a sand dollar thumb rest at the top of the handle. These designs are surrounded by a lush ocean blue gloss glaze. The focal point of the mug is a leafy sea dragon painting rendered in meticulous details. The sea dragon is not clear glazed giving it a raw clay texture. This choice of not clear glazing the painting makes it contrasted against the surrounding gloss glaze. The painting is coated in liquid quartz sealer protecting it from UV light and potential stains. The dark blue glaze has dripped over areas of the leafy sea dragon, truly camouflaging it within the mug.
