Handmade wheel thrown one-of-a-kind ceramic mug. Inspired by the colors of Autumn with a touch of spooky. The mug itself is a white base with orange and black clay marble. Clear glazed surface makes these colors pop beneath the carved gothic window arches on both sides. Surrounding the windows, as if they are growing up around the windows are carved vines that were inlayed with black glaze while the windows are inlayed orange. The handle is adorned with filagree and an orange poppy flower thumb rest applique. The front focal point of the mug is a painted moth rendered in meticulous details. The interior is glazed with a floating purple that echoes the colors within the moth.
