Handmade wheel thrown one-of-a-kind ceramic mug. Inspired by the colors of Autumn with a touch of spooky. The exterior glaze is flowing multi color with a brown base. On both sides are carved gothic window arches glazed in dark contrasting black. Surrounding the windows, as if they are growing up around the windows are carved vines. The handle is adorned with filagree appliques giving an old-world charm. At the top of the handle rests a small moth, adding a touch of whimsy. The front focal point of the mug is a painted moth rendered in meticulous details. The moth is not clear glazed leaving it the natural texture of ceramic. The interior is glazed with dark brown echoing the same colors of the moth.
*ON-SALE due to glaze running off onto kiln shelf. I sanded it down as much as I could. This is only a cosmetic flaw. It will not interfere with functionality.
