Handmade wheel thrown one-of-a-kind ceramic mug. Inspired by the colors of Autumn with a touch of spooky. The exterior is glazed with a dark brown that glitters in sunlight with light brown crystal blooms. The carved gothic window arches on both sides are glazed blue-black edges with burnt yellow panes which if you look closer you will find the same hues within the moth! Surrounding the windows, as if they are growing up around the windows. The handle is adorned with filagree appliques giving it an old-world touch. Above the handle is a small moth applique, adding a touch of whimsy. The front focal point of the mug is a painted moth rendered in meticulous details. The moth is not clear glazed leaving it with a natural texture of unglazed ceramic. The interior is glazed with bright orange with brown drips that echo the colors within the moth.
