Handmade wheel thrown one-of-a-kind ceramic mug. Inspired by the colors of Autumn with a touch of spooky. The exterior glaze is a matte purple flowing down the surface. On both sides are carved gothic window arches glazed in dark contrasting black. Surrounding the windows, as if they are growing up around the windows are carved vines. The handle is adorned with filagree appliques giving an old-world charm. The front focal point of the mug is a painted praying mantis rendered in meticulous details. The mantis is not clear glazed leaving it the natural texture of ceramic. The interior is glazed with a dark brown that glitters in sunlight.
